Progressive broadcast journalist, columnist and author Amy Goodman will be following up her coverage of the Republican National Convention in Tampa with community radio station-hosted appearances in Sarasota (WSLR) and St. Petersburg (WMNF) on Aug. 31.
Goodman will discuss her new book "The Silenced Majority: Stories of Uprisings, Occupations, Resistance, and Hope."
Goodman's show "Democracy Now!" has been one of the most popular shows on Tampa-based community radio station WMNF since 1994. The program airs on more than 1,000 public television and radio stations in 35 countries.
